Kenya is set astride the Equator and is bisected by the Great Rift Valley from north to south. It covers an area of 5,000 sq. km and shares common borders with Tanzania to the south, Uganda in the west, Sudan and Ethiopia in the north and Somalia in the east.
Kenya’s appeal lies in its unique combination of wildlife sanctuaries, glorious beaches, breathtaking scenery, agreeable climate and sophisticated accommodation, linked by a hospitable and happy people. There is literally nowhere else on earth with such abundance of tourism attractions.
The numerous National Parks and Game Reserves occupy an area much the size of Switzerland. No Park or Reserve is a replica of another; they vary in abundance and variety of game, in scenery, in climate and in altitude.
