This service is designed for workers who have an identified occupational goal(s) and job target(s). The service is intended to provide workers, who will be undertaking independent job search activity, with the assistance required to develop and prepare a professional quality, marketable resume(s) and cover letter(s) reflective of their education, experience and transferable skills that is appropriate to their occupational goal(s) and job target(s).

This is designed for workers who have an identified occupational goal(s) and job target(s). The service is intended to prepare the worker to effectively undertake an active job search and secure employment. The focus is to provide the worker with knowledge and skills in the job search including the following: resume, cover letter, application form completion skills (paper and electronic), organizing a job search/time management, employer research/contact list, employer contact techniques, hidden labour market techniques, internet resources, networking techniques, community resources, interview skills, effective references, salary negotiations and interview follow-up.

This service is intended to provide intensive one-to-one assistance for workers with identified occupational goal(s) and job target(s) and who are at risk of not being able to maintain durable employment after placement. This type of service is usually intended for workers who have very significant barriers to employment (e.g. traumatic brain injury, spinal cord damage, ect.) and will need additional support at the new work site.

This service is for workers who have an identified occupational goal(s) and job target(s) and who, as a result of their injury or other barriers require one-to-one assistance to prepare for and undertake an active job search.

The External Service Provider will assist the injured worker to identify and secure durable employment consistent with the occupational goal(s) and job target(s) identified on the referral form and/or other employment that also matches the workers’ aptitudes, interest, abilities, transferable skills and maximizes their residual earnings capacity.
